Just talked a girlfriend through getting an IUD. Its been a year since she initially asked me about it, and I'm thrilled for her that shes making the jump.
IUDs are incredible. Paraguard to be specific. Paraguard is a NO HORMOME birth control that is implanted in your uterus and lasts for ten years.
Ive had it for almost exactly a year now, and it the most awesome thing on the planet. When Ive talked about this to women, 99% freak the fuck out, and I just don't get it. 10 minutes of discomfort versus years of pumping your body full of hormones like a cow? Hormones which no one knows the repercussions of compared to once inch of copper?
