Total Dog.

 The new Straw Dogs remake looks good awful, and there was no good reason to go there. Its unfortunate that the majority of people wont go back in film history to find good stories that have already been told, wanting instead the newest and shiniest, with actors and filmmaking styles that make them feel comfortable.
From the trailer (at the link above), it looks as if they wanted to make a typical revenge movie, and just called it straw dogs to avoid getting sued for plagerism. The only thing that seems the same, much to my surprise, is the poster:
